2013 Fiat 500 Abarth at the DC Auto Show Interview with Matt Davis

Fiat is bringing the Fiat 500 Abarth to the States! RoadflyTV host Emme Hall had a chance to catch up with Fiat Product Marketing guru, Matt Davis and ask him a few questions at the 2012 Washington, DC Auto Show. The all-new 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine is mated to a manual five-speed transmission. The drivetrain features equal-length half shafts, 3.35 final-drive ratio, and a Torque Transfer Control (TTC) system that delivers power to the pavement.

    [..YouTube..] @Kiriisking Totally agree! I initially thought he was going to say it lost weight because I’m used to hearing that from companies like Porsche or Lotus. I’m glad Emme caught it as well.

    [..YouTube..] I believe that Ross said, “I’m looking for the snail”…in reference to where the turbocharger was hiding at under the hood. My old boss used to say that under the hood of his twin turbo car that “two hermit crabs had crawled under the hood and were causing trouble”. :)
