Here what they need to do to this car to make it a real sport car:
1. All wheals drive
2. At least 270 hp
3. 2 to 3 inches wider stance
4. 3 inches longer

Wow, driving a LHD car in Britain? Sounds challenging, but nice collection of driving impressions.

Heavy (2800 lbs) and under powered (200 hp, 150 ft lbs)… Not exactly sporty.

Really good review. I’ve seen a ton of reviews on the FRS/BRZ as well, and talking about some of the flaws (suspension, alignment, etc,) and things that can address these things bring a different aspect to the review, which is awesome. Hopefully we’ll see more reviews by Charlie?

I’ve seen a lot of reviews on this car, this is the first one with real in depth analysis on the suspension.

So what if I don’t have access to tight technical roads or have no intention whatsoever to drift this car, is this still going to be a fun car for me?

I think if people are dumb enough to think they can do it without proper instruction, then let them get what’s coming to them. I certainly would never try it.

Hmmm telling people how to drift this car, now everyone are going to go out and try it.. Sounds like that should have been edited out of the video to me.. But you can always point the blame if you guys didn’t drift your car correctly and wrecked it LOL.. Just come back to this video.. Just saying..

This is possibly the very first Subaru that was NOT built with All Wheel Drive! Subaru and Toyota have both made a bold move making this classic sports car like the BRZ (and twin Scion FR-S)

The “sports car” definition in the start of the video is obviously quite old. By that definition a Porsche Boxster/Cayman or Lotus Elise/Exige is not a sports car. Come on surprised you even included that archaic definition of what a sports car was back in 1965.
