[..YouTube..] It is a good car for the money. It is what it is.
It gives you 85% of what you would expect in a top flight luxury car for 70% of the money which is not too bad.
It needs some polishing in the looks department.

[..YouTube..] You can’t fake the funk. When you’re aiming to offer something for less than a car that’s already offering something for less, you’re just watering down the car’s potential.
lffit
[..YouTube..] OMG ugly, is it a Lada? and that grille lol
mail22
[..YouTube..] The side view mirrors look really high.
nforspeed91
[..YouTube..] So the Equus is a “poor mans” LS which is a “poor mans” S-class.
nikosbt
[..YouTube..] ANOTHER CAR WE WON’T BE SEEING IN EUROPE.TOO BAD
soulxside
[..YouTube..] Either this is a giant car for giants, or this is a tiny man standing next to and sitting in an average sized car.
frozencanuckreviews
[..YouTube..] @dumapies I took a Genesis on a three hour drive, I thought it was awesome for the money, especially if you get an end of the year deal.
soyntgo4it
[..YouTube..] @MrMBMW93 Actually your wrong it was in “OPTION” for 2011 by special order only. People that had purchased the 5.0 liked it so much. The 4.6 will also be staying also. Theres also the 3.8 V-6 and the 5.5 V-8 which both engines will never be used here for this car in the USA. But anyway doesn’t matter now the 5.0 is here..
shafta99
[..YouTube..] people that have this car love it. not my taste though.

[..YouTube..] This car is perfectly fine the way it is. And Ross is testing the signature model. The center console isn’t going to have fancy things on it. He should have tested the Ultimate model. That one has all the fancy gadgets. Come on now! To me, the Equus is as good as the others. Plus, the engine will be upgraded.
MrMBMW93
[..YouTube..] @soyntgo4it The 5.0L V8 is standard in the 2012 Equus but was never offered in the 2011 model.
talldude123
[..YouTube..] I wanna sit in the massaging reclining rear seat before I die, kthx?
talldude123
[..YouTube..] @WoZIMoo I think it’s the other way around! This car is so much more inexpensive than the Lexus, you could actually afford to drive this, or hire a chauffeur!
radbcc
[..YouTube..] Good job Ross. Do you people really want “value” in a $60k+ car?
feloinca
[..YouTube..] @bottomlayer they dont have 10 years warranty globally, that warranty is only for the countries they have factories, tops they give you in countries w/o factories is 5 years and btw reliability on a hyundai still in doubt for me, as there had been many issues with their steering wheels (sonata) thats why i bought an Audi >.<
PwnageMewsic
[..YouTube..] @sapdaman1 pahaha, yeah I noticed that too.
HSLakaAL
[..YouTube..] @dumapies I see. Well, they’re both good IMO, especially for a car in that price range.

[..YouTube..] great review. i completely agree with ross. while i think this car is competitive… you ultimately get what you pay for. customers with adquate experience and who are knowledgible enough to know the standard that this segment is held (such as ross) can see the extra quality you get in a lexus, bmw, audi, or mercedes. for example, the center stack in the equus wouldn’t look out of place in a toyota avalon. that being said, this car would satisfy the ppl who r going to buy it – not me though
dumapies
[..YouTube..] @HSLakaAL
I mean personally, I’m thinking about getting a Genesis sometime soon. The Equus is a little too big and over budget but the Genesis still does the job.
